Hatzegopteryx was a carnivorous dinosaur from the Upper Cretaceous period. Based on remains, it was considered to be among the biggest pterosaurs. It was estimated to have had a wingspan of up to 33-36 feet and feet better adapted to walking on land than most pterosaurs. Its name means “Hatzeg Basin Wing”.
